Fun with the Fam (LOTS of pics)

Since all of my family was here for Brayden's baptism we took the opportunity to do some fun things (besides 6 trips to the airport in 6 days!)

Thursday: Ashley and Kendall got in really late Wednesday night. Mom and Ron got in pretty early Thursday. Jeremy had to work and then went straight to the temple right after so we just hung out. We went to the park, made a few runs to Freddy Meyers and BBQ'd. Oh, and Ron and Kendall put together our swing in the back!

Friday: (the only day we didn't go to the airport!) Jeremy worked a half a day. When he got home we packed up and headed out to Bonneville Dam. Brayden was in heaven. We saw the dam, all of the fish in the fish ladder, and Herman the Sturgeon-up close and personal (he could have eaten me if he wanted to...) Afterward we (Ron and Ash mostly) cooked some pretty mean dutch oven at Rooster Rock.

Saturday: We picked up Tyler, Dominique, and Greyson at the airport bright and early. Then we headed to NW Portland to the Stepping Stone Cafe, as seen on Man Vs Food, where we sampled some famous "mancakes" (these are really really HUGE pancakes. Like the size of a large dinner plate) It was packed there, but they got us in pretty quickly and were really nice. After a yummy breakfast we headed home to prepare for Brayden's baptism. We went to Fred Meyers a few times and hung out. After the baptism we came back home for pizza and games.

Sunday: Got up early to take Ashley and Kendall to the airport, we were sad to see them go! Then went to Sacrament, then came home and vegged. After the babies (and some non-babies) took naps we headed up to Wildwood Recreation area. Beautiful. It was a great day and we had fun exploring nature.

Monday: Got up early once again to take Tyler, Dominique and Greyson to the airport. Then went home and got ready to go crabbing! We thought the weather would be ok...but we ended up pretty wet! It wasn't too cold though. We caught 150, and kept 3! A record high for us. We pulled up one pot that had 17 in it at once-and two keepers. That's pretty good. We made two stops at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Once for squeaky cheese, and once for ice cream. It was a long full, fun day!

Tuesday: Got up early again to get Mom and Ron to the airport :( Our mini family reunion was over. It was strange coming back to an empty house. And we spent the rest of the week recovering from late nights, early mornings, lots of game playing, and lots of fun! Thanks for coming everyone!
