Happy Vetrans Day!!

Yeah, Veterans day was a few weeks ago, but we had special visitors and did lots of fun stuff, that I am JUST NOW getting around to putting on the computer. I know, BAD ME! My mom and dad were able to come for an early Thanksgiving and spend a glorious week with us. We went crabbing for the first time, and everyone had tons of fun. We caught something like 125 but only 2 were keepers. The place where we went provided everything, and even cooked them when we brought them in...and man, were they tasty! (I'm so glad the kids aren't particularly fond of crab...especially since we only got to eat 2!) We lucked out and had beautiful weather while we were at the beach, we really couldn't have asked for better. Since we were already there, we made a pilgrimage to the Tillamook Cheese factory. We also went to the zoo to visit the new baby elephant, he was so cute! It was nice to have my parents visiting and we did a little shopping, a little geocaching (a pez treasure in our very own castle park, how cool is that?) and eating early turkey. Jeremy and Ron had fun at the annual ward Turkey shoot (no, they were NOT shooting turkeys, first PRIZE was a turkey.) Jeremy brought home a chicken :) So, we are so glad that grandpa and grandma could come visit. We love you and miss you- please don't wait a year to come back again!

What a fun trip! Now we just need to figure out a way to get us all together at the same time....yeah, I know, big dreams. But someday!
I think it's crazy how big Makenna is getting. She's not a baby at all anymore! Take care and let's chat again sometime soon.
