Ian James Kato was blessed on December 6th, 2009 while Grandpa and Grandma from New Jersey were able to be here. We were also lucky enough to have Jeremy's brother Keith and his wife Ceianna and their little Emily come for the event too! Jeremy's parents and Grandma, or Mam as we know her, came also, so it was a full house! The day started off eventful with no power. It's kinda hard to get ready for church with no electricity (I would NOT have been a good pioneer) not to mention we were having everyone over after for lunch. Baked potatoes are not very good when they are NOT baked! Luckily the power came on about an hour before church started, so we were rushed, but at least our hair looked pretty and our potatoes were cookin'!Jeremy gave an awesome blessing, and I realized again, how lucky I am to be married to a man that honors his priesthood. Looking at all of the men circling Ian, I was so grateful to know that he has such strong examples in his life. Thank you to everyone who came and were there in spirit!
