Well, here they are. After much long anticipation we are posting our pumpkin pics! It seems like all of the pumpkin patches around here cost and ARM and a LEG...they charge you to see the pumpkins, they charge for the horse ride, the hay maze, the kid pavilion, to look at their animals, and the corn maze...and you can't just take your kids to something like that and say 'well now guys, look at all those kids doing fun things, but we're not going to, so watch real closely and see what it would be like!' so you end up paying out the nose, not to me

So, luckily both Brayden and Audri went to pumpkin patches with school, so they got to do the stuff at discounted rates...but we still needed to take our family pics, so we found this little place called Olson's Farm. It was so refreshing! Nothing but some fresh produce and a pumpkin patch. There was a horse drawn wagon that would take you out into the fields which was FREE! So, we took the horsey ride and picked our pumpkin from th
e fields which was fun. Each kid posed on a pumpkin and we came back in. The pumpkins there were also VERY reasonable...we got 3 good sized pumpkins for $5. I was impressed and think this is where we'll go from now on...the other stuff is fun, but who can afford to spend $50 at a pumpkin patch? The one thing I miss from MD is the display of pumpkins. In MD the place that we went just had piles upon piles of pumpkins and we'd climb them and put the kids in the middle, but here, things are a bit more sparse, so the effect isn't quite the same, but still good. So, here's the pics of our three pumpkins, er kids,...and also some of the after pics of when Jeremy, Brayden, and Audri got to them with a knife :)

great pictures- you're nice parents. we didn't do the whole pumkin patch thing this year- just had brandon run to the grocery store to pick some up. oh, and about the built in pillow thing... they are nice to have, the only problem is they have dropped from my cheeks to some other areas on my body after having kids! still nice to have the cushion however! TMI??
Cute little pumpkins you have! Oregon pumpkin patches aren't suppose to charge like that! Glad you found a good one!
we couldn't find a decent pumpkin patch anywhere! we ended up going to some church's "patch" which was just a bunch of pumpkins on the ground next to their church and they were pretty pricey too!
those are some good looking pumpkins..I agree with the outrageous fees they charge!! we had to pay $5 for our pumpkin that then rotted before we had even carved it!! cute pics though..
At last, the long awaited pumpkin patch pictures...you did not disapoint, they are way cute! I'm glad you guys had fun, even if you had to go into debt to do so :)
