Happy Birthday Audri Mei!

Wow! Audri's 3!! It is hard to believe that we've been blessed with Audri in our family for 3 years, so of course we had to celebrate in style! She woke up to a present first thing in the morning, which was her 'princess for a day' crown and ear rings. She really liked the idea of the ear rings and tried to wear them but they started hurting and that was the end of that. She wore her crown to library story time where she was sung to and presented a dairy queen coupon. Then we lunched at the fine Establishment of McDonald's, but not just any Micky D's. The one with the fancy play place in Gresham. After lunch we came home and watched a movie. When daddy came home we waited for Grandma and Grandpa with kitties to bring the requested broccoli (really, when asked what she wanted for her birthday dinner the only thing she said was 'broccoli' so we compromised and got Chinese, chicken and broccoli!) She made out like a bandit with presents from Grandpa and Grandma with Nikki (Cinderella bubble blower, which she LOVES), a tea set from Brayden, some baby bottles from Makenna (which turned out to be the secret hit, we had to tell her her babies were full so that she'd open more presents!), an ironing board and iron and bubbly curious george from Grandpa and Grandma with Kitties, a gardening set from Tia, and a shopping cart from mom and dad. Everyone seemed to choose well, she has played with everything for hours! We sang and had cake. After we finished singing 'happy birthday' to her, she said 'THANKS!' before blowing out her candles. It was great! We had a good day, and it ended appropriately when she said 'tell me Happy Birthday one more time!' before she'd go to sleep. That's our girl! Happy Birthday Audge!
